Memorial Day

Pool Days...

End of the Year for Soccer

Ainslie had her last soccer practice Thursday evening.  We had a little fun for their last practice and played a soccer game with parents vs Ainslie and her teammates.  Afterwards, we all shared pizza, cookies, and cupcakes!  It's been a great year!

Emilie even got in on the action!

Last Day of School...

WCES puts on an awards ceremony for each grade on the last day of school.  Emilie received an award for her Rockin' Reading and Ainslie received an award for her Wonderful Writing, as well as the Outstanding Citizenship award for her class.  This one is a big deal because only one girl and one boy from each class can receive this award and it is voted on by your classmates!  Ainslie was very honored to receive this award for the second year in a row!

Summer Adventure!

We are going on a family road/camping trip for two weeks this summer.  We are very excited for our adventure!  Michael bought the girls new sleeping bags for the big trip and Emme couldn't wait to jump in!

Final Tournament...

Ainslie's Rush soccer team played in their last tournament this past weekend.  These pictures were taken from the game on Friday night.  She played hard and we were very proud of the skills that she showed during the game.  Ains came down with Strep on Saturday morning, so she was not able to play in the game on Saturday or Sunday.  She was bummed, but she was with her team in spirit!

Field Day!

Wolf Creek Elementary had their field day on Friday morning and it was a BLAST!  It is so fun working at the same school that our girls go to, and being able to help out at events like field day.  I was able to grab a ton of pics of the girls and their friends throughout the morning.
Excited to get to school!

Final Game...

Em had her final soccer game with the Redhawks on Saturday afternoon.  She played a great game and scored two goals for her team!  Great season Em!!

Fairy Garden

Emilie's Aunt Ashley bought her a fairy garden kit for her birthday and we built it on Saturday morning.  It came with everything we needed:  soil, wildflower seeds, tools, the fairy house and accessories.  It even came with a watering can.  Oh, and of course, a fairy!  ;)

We can't wait to watch the garden grow!!

SIX

~Happy 6th Birthday to my sweet, sensitive, animal loving Emilie Irene!!

Muffins with Moms

WCES puts on a Muffins with Moms every year for all of us Mama's with kids at Wolf Creek.  It's always such a nice way to kick off Mother's Day weekend!

Emilie's Birthday with her Class!

Emilie and her buddy Jamison
Em brought donut holes and juice boxes for her class to share.  Mrs. McCutcheon (pictured with Em below) and the rest of her class sang Happy Birthday to her!

Watch Dog!!!

Mike was Watch Dog at Wolf Creek Elementary on Thursday.  Emilie was able to celebrate her birthday with her class a day early (her actual bday is on Friday) while her Daddy was at school!
Mike and the girls gave high fives in the gym as all of the students entered first thing in the morning.
Mike being announced by Mrs. Hackney (Principal) and Carson (Ainslie's good buddy) as the Watch Dog for the day!

Kindergarten Music Program at WCES!

Emilie and her classmates had their music program on Tuesday evening at WCES.  It was super cute!  Em had a line in the program and she did awesome!

Her line was, Can you guess what this song is just by listening?  (They hummed the tune to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and then the audience had to guess the tune!)
