Field Trip to Police Station

We took the preschoolers on a field trip to the Spring Hill Police Station this morning.  It is located just down the street from the preschool and the rain held off, so we were able to walk!

Touring the police Chiefs car.  He had the lights flashing and even turned on the sirens!

Emme and her friend Charlotte sitting in the back of the Chiefs car.  Hopefully this is the only time she is in the back of a police car!  ;)

Grammie & Pops Came to Ainslie's Game!

Camping Out with Daddy!

Michael has been talking about setting up our tent in the backyard and having a slumber party with the girls for a while now.  Saturday night, he made it happen!  We toasted s'mores and then got the girls all settled in with their sleeping bags and lots of blankets in case they got chilly!
Daddy and his girls!  He even read them a couple of ghost stories before they turned out the lights!
I'm so proud of them!  They made it all night.  Now, it's time to plan our first camping weekend!  ;)

Saturday Morning Soccer for Em!

Emilie had her first "play day" with her Rush soccer group on Saturday morning.  They practice every Thursday night.  Then three Saturdays within the season, they get to play two 30 minute games during what they call "play days."  She did great and scored her first goal for the season!

Friday Night Dinner

We met Daddy for dinner at Minsky's on Friday night!

Emilie Irene

I caught Em sneaking a nap at quiet time yesterday.  She looks so sweet and little here, it's hard to imagine she will be turning 5 in just a few weeks!  Please stop growing so fast Emilie Irene.

Dessert?! Yes, please!

Sisters Waiting for Brunch...

I took the girls out to run errands and to brunch on Sunday morning while Daddy was golfing with Grandma.  We went to First Watch, one of our favorite brunch spots!

Taste of Shawnee!!

We took the girls, along with some neighbors to the Taste of Shawnee on Saturday afternoon.  We sampled some tasty food, the girls got their faces painted, and danced to Rockin' Rob (our favorite children's music performer)!  It was the perfect way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon!
The girls made these cute visors when we first arrived!

Both of the girls singing on stage with Rockin' Rob!!

Library Day

We walked to the library with all of our Preschool students this morning.  One of the librarians at the Spring Hill Public Library read books and sang songs to the children.  Each child was able to check out a book on the way out of the library.   Ainslie was home sick from school today, so she was able to join along!

Our Weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge!

We surprised the girls on Saturday morning by telling them that after lunch we were going to grab their swimsuits and jump in the car to spend the rest of the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge!  They were SO EXCITED!!!

Ains has her wolf ears on and she's ready to go!
We checked into our room when we first arrived and the girls got to check out their wolf den complete with bunk beds!

The girls had to check out our bed (and jump on the bed/Daddy), as well!
Time for the pool and water slides!

Daddy and the girls on the three person slide!

Daddy won this chubby unicorn for Ainslie at the arcade!

Chocolate milkshakes with dinner?!  Yes, please!!
 More fun at the arcade!
 Sisters.
We took the girls to story time in the lobby before bed.

 Goodnight from the wolf den!
Sunday morning, we woke up and went to the pool for a little bit.  We then went to the breakfast buffet and lastly, a little putt putt before heading home!

What a fun weekend!  We will be talking about this little trip for a long time to come!
