Let's Play Outside!

It was a warm and sunny afternoon, so the girls and I decided that it was time to get out of the house and play outside!  A little sunshine, time with my girls, and a popsicle too!  Life is good!

Ainslie is a part of a playgroup, which originated from a group of us that started Gymboree together when she was around 7 months old.  We meet every Wednesday morning at one of our houses, a park, children's museum, petting zoo or pool!  It is such a fun group to be involved with and Ainslie LOVES all of her little buddies.  The group is growing with the addition of siblings, which is so fun for Emme, who has playmates too!

I have been taking our girls to Gymboree Play and Music in Prairie Village since Ainslie was around 7 months old.  There is a large statue of a wild boar in the middle of the shopping area and we have to go visit "piggy" as a part of the whole Gymboree experience.  I have several pictures of Ainslie with piggy, but today was Emilie's first time sitting with him!

Pansies!

It's a rainy Tuesday afternoon and Emme is playing the day away at Grammie's.  Ainslie and I decided that it was time to plant some pansies.  This is the first year that Ainslie has taken an interest in helping me, and boy was I excited!  We went to the store, Ainslie picked the pansies, and we came home and got to planting!  It was so much fun to have a little helper!

Discover the Dinosaurs!

Michael travels a lot during the week, so we try to take the girls to do something fun on Saturday.  This weekend we took the girls to the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit at the Overland Park Convention Center.  Ainslie was SOOO excited!!

Spring Break with Cousins!!

It's Spring Break this week for Ainslie and Emilie's cousins who live in St. Louis.  They came into town for a couple of days and stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge.  While Emme played at Grammie's house, I was able to take Ainslie to meet them at the water park!  It was so much fun!!  It's their Uncle Clint's birthday this week, so we had to do a little celebrating as well!

Happy Birthday Kendan!

Ainslie and Emilie went to their buddy Kendan's 2nd Birthday party this morning.  It was slumber party themed, so the girls got to wear their pj's!!  The girls had so much fun with their friends!
