Potty Training...

Tomorrow marks the first day of Emilie's potty training!  I am using the same sticker chart and reward system that I used with her big sister.  I had great success with Ainslie, let's hope the same goes with Em!  ;)

Preschool Open House!

We went to Ainslie's Open House for Preschool tonight.  She got to meet some of her new classmates and check out her classroom!  She starts next Tuesday and is SO ready!

The girls were anxious to get inside and check everything out!

Ainslie found her cubby as soon as we walked in the door to her classroom.  She was so excited that her name and circle were purple, her favorite color!

Movie Date!

Ainslie and I went to see Planes this morning, while Em spent the day with Grammie.  We have gone to see a handful of movies together this Summer and it has been so much fun!  Ainslie starts Preschool next week, so we decided to squeeze in one last movie  ;)

Marshall's Zoo Birthday!

Ainslie and Emilie were invited to their buddy Marshall's 4th Birthday Party at the Kansas City Zoo.  It was so much fun!  The kids were able to learn about and touch a snake and a rabbit!  Emme was in heaven!  :)

Jingles Update

Jingles has gained a pound since we adopted him and now weighs 4lbs!  He has become very feisty and loves to run around and play with Sadie (our family dog)!  We love him so much and we are really happy that he has joined our family!

Happy Birthday!!!

The girls and I threw their Daddy a Birthday party tonight (his official bday is tomorrow, but I will be out for the evening).  We had lasagna roll ups for dinner and cookie cake for dessert.  The girls practiced singing Happy Birthday all day! They couldn't wait for him to get home from work to sing!

Happy Birthday to my best friend, husband, and amazing father to our girls!  I love you so much!

Story Time.

Ainslie and I went to PB Kids story time this morning.  We were so excited, as two of the three books were about Princesses!  

Beautiful Afternoon...

Ainslie and I spent part of the afternoon outside, while Emilie was napping and Daddy was at the Kansas Speedway watching races with Pops.  It was too beautiful to stay in!
