Museum with Friends!

We went with our friends and neighbors to the American Museum of Natural History in Overland Park today.  The new exhibit featured Mythical Creatures such as dragons, unicorns, and mermaids.  The museum also has a "Discovery Room" where the kids played hands on!

SHUMCP Open House!

We went to the girls' open house at their school tonight.  Ainslie will start Pre-K next week and Emilie will start Preschool.  I am also assisting Ainslie's teacher on Tuesday and Thursday of each week!  It is going to be a fun year!  ;)

Ainslie's 1st Soccer Practice

We signed Ainslie up for soccer this Fall through Spring Hill Recreation Center.  Her Coach is also her best friend Maddie's Dad, PJ.  They had their first practice this evening and did really great!  I cannot wait to see their first game!

Gymnastics Wednesday!

End of Summer Playdate...

The girls and I met up with Jackson and Aunt Ashley for an end of Summer playdate.  All of the "littles" head to Preschool and Pre-K next week, and with sports and school schedules, we won't see each other as often.  Ashley invited us over to their house to play and to go to the pool.  We packed picnic lunches and had the pool all to ourselves!  It was a great way to send off Summer!

Happy Birthday Michael!

Michael's 36th Birthday was on Thursday, but since he was on a business trip, we had a family celebration at my parents house on Friday night!

360 Gymnastics!

It's Wednesday, so that means it's Emilie's day to go to gymnastics!  She is doing really well in class, and I am so proud of how far she has come in the past two months!

My Movie Dates...

The girls and I went to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the theater this morning.  Ainslie has had a mild obsession with Donatello and all things TMNT for a while now, so I surprised her this morning by taking her to see the much anticipated movie!  She LOVED every second of it!  When we got home, she made a picture of her and Donatello having a picnic together and we dropped it down the sewer on our street.  On the way home she told me, "I hope Donatello finds my note, Mama!"  ;)

Sprinkler Weather!

We were outside playing yesterday afternoon in the 90 degree weather and decided that it was just too hot without the sprinkler!
