Playgroup met at Kendan's house this morning for some outdoor fun in the sun!  Thanks for having us over to play!

Memorial Day

We celebrated the Memorial Day holiday with Ainslie and Emilie's Grammie and Pops!  It was such a fun and relaxing day!  We spent much of the day with the girls in the swimming pool and eating good food!!

Jiggle Jam!

We took the girls to Jiggle Jam Sunday morning.  It is an outdoor concert and kids festival at Crown Center.  Our favorite kids band, Rockin' Rob was singing, so we had to stop by his tent and check him out!  We also met Ainslie's buddy Kendan and his baby brother and parents!  And of course, a trip to Crown Center would not be complete without Ainslie running through the water fountains!  What a fun day!!

As much as she might love to put on a Princess dress and glass slippers.....she truly is a tomboy at heart!

12 Month Wellness Check

Emilie had her 12 month wellness check today and she did great.  She weighs 20lbs and measures 29" tall.  She had to have several vaccinations in both thighs, which she was less than thrilled about and she let me know!  Here are some other fun stats on Miss Emilie at one year old.

She can say, Mama, Dada, and signs for "all done" when she is finished eating or doesn't want me to do something like change her diaper!  


She waves hello and goodbye, plays peek a boo, claps her hands, gives hugs and kisses (when SHE feels like it!), smiles and laughs all day long (mostly at her big sissy), dances, crawls, pulls up on everything, and can pass a ball back and forth!


She eats mostly big girl food and snacks, baby yogurt, drinks milk (no more formula, yay!) and drinks out of a sippy cup too!

Our New House!!!

The girls are so excited to move into their new house in Spring Hill, KS mid June!  More pictures to come!

Farewell Picnic

We met all of our playgroup friends for a farewell picnic yesterday afternoon and evening.  One of our original playgroup members, Lincoln and his family are moving, so we decided to have one last get together to send them off!  It was a perfect day for a picnic.  Everyone brought dinner and snacks, balls and bubbles, oh, and kites too!
