Ains and I went to see Monsters University today while Emme played at Grammie's.  We had such a good time, just the two of us!

We had an impromptu pool party and BBQ with some of our neighbors last night!  Love our neighborhood!!!

After spending the morning outside playing, we decided to come inside and cool off with some naked finger painting! ;)

Our neighbor invited us over yesterday afternoon for lunch and some outdoor fun.  She has a super cool pool complete with water slide and basketball hoop!  Ains spent the day with Grammie, so it was just Em and I!

Family Reunion at the Lake!

We went to a family reunion on Michael's side of the family at his uncles lake house in Lake Lotawana today.  The girls got to go fishing with Daddy for the first time and Ainslie caught two fish!!  They also met cousins from out of town and made new friends!

Now that summer is in full swing, we are spending a lot of time at the pool.  We are very lucky that Grammie and Pops have a beautiful pool in their backyard!  Above is one of my favorite pics of Miss Emme taking a break from the water!

Jewelry Party!

Ainslie and I hosted a Premier Design jewelry party at our house this afternoon!  Below is a pic of Ains and Grammie "playing" in the jewelry!  :)

Happy Birthday Sydney & Conor!

Ainslie went to Sydney and Conor's 4th Birthday party today at My Gym in Overland Park.  Ainslie made friends with the twins at gymnastics on her first day, and they have been buddies ever since!  She was so excited to get an invite to their party!  It was the first time that I dropped her off at a Birthday party and left!  When I came to pick her up she took one look at me and ran into the gym to play with her friends some more. Clearly, I was the only one nervous about leaving her!  ;)

We met playgroup at Franklin Park this morning.  It was a cool summer morning and the kids had fun running around together!
