Rescuing a Robin...

The girls and I rescued a baby Robin from my parents backyard last week.  We believe that the nest fell out of one of their trees and that the mother abandoned the baby. Ainslie named him Fuzzy!  We have been feeding and taking care of him until he is old enough to fly and go out on his own.  It's amazing to watch him grow daily!

Emilie Starts Gymnastics...Next Week

Emilie was so excited to get dressed in her leotard and head to her very first gymnastics class this evening.  We got to the building and found that the parking lot was bare.  Not a car in sight!  After checking the Spring Hill Rec website, Michael informed me that gymnastics starts NEXT Monday.  Needless to say there were some tears...

Three Year Wellness Check

Emilie had her three year wellness check this morning with Dr. Brack at Leawood Family Care.  She is perfectly healthy and set to go to Preschool in the Fall!

Downtown OP Farmers' Market

The girls and I met some friends at the Downtown Overland Park Farmers' Market this morning.  We browsed all of the fresh produce, stopped for a chocolate chip cookie, and caught our favorite band, Rockin' Rob!  We love Summer!!
