Sunday at Worlds of Fun!
We met up with a couple of Brookwood Farms families to go to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun for the day on Sunday. Both of the other families have two girls that are good friends of Ainslie and Emilie's. We all had the best time! We spent most of the morning at Planet Snoopy where the girls could run from one ride to the next. We packed lunches and had a picnic in the park right by the Oceans of Fun entrance. After lunch, we went back into the park for some water time. The weather was perfect. Not too hot and a great breeze!!

Playgroup Friends!!
After the Dino O'Dell concert, we went to the park next to the pavilion to run around and play. Another playgroup family joined us and Jenny snapped this picture of Ainslie, Lincoln, and Molly. These three have been friends since they were around 6 months old and we all met at Gymboree Play and Music in Prairie Village! It's been so fun to watch all of the kids grow over the last five plus years!
Dino O'Dell with Friends
We were invited to join some friends from our old playgroup yesterday morning to go to the park by their house to listen and dance to Dino O'Dell. He is a children's performer that travels around KC. The girls had so much fun singing along and dancing!

Cousins Together!
My Aunt Gretchen and her children Regan and Holden were in town this past weekend for Father's Day. We were all together at my parents house on Sunday to celebrate the Holiday. It's always so fun to see all of the kids together!

Happy 4th Birthday Ava!
Em's best friend and next door neighbor turned 4 this weekend and had a big party at her house! We had so much fun with all of our neighborhood friends!!
Birdhouses
The girls picked out and painted birdhouses this week. They love to paint and it's become a tradition to paint a new birdhouse every Spring or Summer!!

Happy 12th Birthday Ty!!
We went over to my brother and sister-in-laws house on Saturday night to celebrate Tyler's 12th birthday. We had dinner, two kinds of cake and a few drinks while the kids ran around and had a great time outside. It was a beautiful Summer night!! Happy Birthday Ty!!

Strawberries and Cookies!
We got home from strawberry picking just in time before a rain storm. We washed our strawberries and snacked on them while we made homemade chocolate chip cookies! And that is what is for lunch at our house today! ;)
Strawberry Picking!
I took the girls to Gieringers Orchard in Edgerton, KS this morning to pick strawberries. I didn't tell them where we were going, just to jump in the car and that we were going on an adventure! We have never been strawberry picking before. It was so much fun!
